One of the most popular treats at Dog Meats Bone is dried chicken hearts. Here is the raw version.
A perpetual favourite of Enid's I will sometimes add this to her daily food as a way to keep her interested. Sometimes dogs get bored with the same textures and so a little chucky meaty heart can do wonders at keeping monotony at bay.
Although heart is an organ, it is considered a muscle meat so you can add a few hearts as a way to bump up the meat content and dilute bone in foods if you are finding that your pup is struggling now and again.
Keep in mind that heart can be rich for dogs that aren't used to it so add them slowly to begin with.
