In a raw diet, it's important that you dog eats a range of proteins, however for those who suffer from the occasional allergic flare up it can be hard to work out the offending protein if you're feeding a mix of meats.
Single proteins like this meal from Dougie's are really helpful when trying to pinpoint exactly what your dog should avoid. The general rule of thumb is to feed a single protein meal for 6 weeks and observe if there is any reaction. No reaction? Add in another protein and see it goes. Keep adding proteins until you notice a change.
These meals are not solely for dogs on an elimination diet though! If you're dog is a bit of partial to range of meats, definitely add this one to your list.
